What is alive in the digital world?

SNI’s DEEP connects dynamic data about animal and plant life with digital creatives. Land steward communities permanently produce data about their work that renders the complexity of ‘nature’ comprehensible. With DEEP, digital creatives bring this data to life in virtual worlds.

Introducing SNI’s

What is alive in the digital world?

SNI’s DEEP connects dynamic data about animal and plant life with digital creatives. Land steward communities permanently produce data about their work that renders the complexity of ‘nature’ comprehensible. With DEEP, digital creatives bring this data to life in virtual worlds.
DEEP is grounded in the belief that decentralising the power to define what is of value is at the core of an ecological transformation.
WHY DEEP WAS BORN
Kenya Wildlife Trust -
Driven by science and focused on people
SNI’s DEEP builds on the locality of ecological knowledge and is committed to amplifying the work of nature stewards. Therefore we partnered with the leading conservation organisation Kenya Wildlife Trust (KWT) to bring their fascinating predators’ stories to online creatives and content creators.
As Kenya’s principal predator conservation trust, KWT understands critical conservation needs across the country and can create tangible, strategic links between wildlife research, monitoring and conservation efforts. KWT implemented their own flagship lion and cheetah monitoring projects in the Maasai Mara in 2013.
Let your wild conservation stories do the pitch
By harnessing the power of Web3 technology and communities, we are enabling ‘nature’ stewards to:
the long-term engagement and support of their online community
alternative funding streams for their conservation and restoration efforts
and educate young online communities with ecological content

SNI’s DEEP (Decentralised Ecological Economics Protocol) is a bio-social technological framework that operates like a conduit, connecting diverse online and offline communities with the goal of transforming the ways we value 'nature'.

It enables communities working to conserve and restore our planet’s biodiversity on the ground to create new value flows and revenue streams, by making already existing digitised ecological data available to the online creators and innovators industry.
Web3 creatives receive ever-changing, ecological data enabling the generation of empathy-rich digital derivatives that relate to and are influenced by the fascinating dynamicity and complexity of living organisms.

Decentralising the tools to express what is of value means preparing the ground for new eco-digital communities.
